This Summer I have become a little obsessed with street food. I'm not entirely sure where or how it started but my diary is suddenly full with every local market and festival in my desperation to eat as much freshly cooked scran as humanely possible! So I can't wait to tell you about Eats from the Streets which is happening at the Teesside Shopping Centre this weekend

When I can't get out to the food festivals I'm desperately trying to recreate the dishes at home and have found that attempting to rustle up some street food in the kitchen is great when you're entertaining guests. Our current favourite street food themed meal involves stuffing as much meat as we can into a freshly baked bap and then conjuring up our own sauce with things that we find in our cupboard. That is exactly why I love street food, there's no rules just plenty of fun, a bit of flare and a whole load of flavour.
This weekend Eats from the Streets arrives at the Teesside Shopping Park in Stockton on Tees. Dishing up food from around the world, it's a street food festival not to be missed with plenty of tempting treats, perfect for a weekend of indulgence.

You'll be able to choose from a huge variety of street food with independent vendors including artisan hot dogs from the Pork Store, Beacon's Burgers, Wilmas Cupcakery and Dough Rollers wood oven pizzas. Check out their Facebook pages and get yourself ready for a weekend full of food (just looking at all their delicious dishes made my tummy growl!)
Once you've picked what you want to eat the best is still to come with diners getting to enjoy their food on a very special double decker Routemaster bus completely kitted out with tables and chairs.

You'll find Eats from the Streets between Mothercare and Superdrug in the Teesside Shopping Park from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July.
Make sure you let me know if you make it along and share your favourite food stalls, I'm always after street food recommendations!
Looks great! Imogen went to the chilli fest with her pal at the weekend, have you been before? she said it was fab! I love the cake stall name!
