Recently Candy Rocks hosted a VIP event at my favourite venue for epic scotch eggs, the Town Wall. Proceeds from the ticket sales went to Headstart4Babies and we had a great evening of fun entertainment and shopping.
It was a great excuse to rock my favourite Candy Rocks necklace and meet up with some other North East bloggers.
We enjoyed Gloworm cocktails and cheesecakes from the talented Ali at Simply Cheesecake (you may remember she made my birthday cheesecake earlier this year and I also wolfed down one of her desserts at my recent visit to Coop Chicken).
Ladies from Glitz n Glamour hairdressing were on hand to style hair. I am completely useless with hair so I was very happy to get some oomph put back into my style with some pretty curls. The experience has actually made me think I might invest in some curling tongs.
The Candy Rocks girls put on some great games for us including a raffle, a quiz (anyone fancy a go at naming the Raggy Dolls?) and "Name a Necklace" where we got to come up with an original name for a new piece arriving in the collection soon. The necklace was a gorgeous black and dark blue colour so the winning name "Liquorice on Ice" was a perfect fit. The lucky winner got to take the necklace home - so jealous!
Of course, one of the main reasons we were there was to have an exclusive look at Candy Rocks' pieces for the new season. There were loads of beautiful new necklaces to look at and I did have to stop myself buying everything. Instead I put on my sensible head and bought some gorgeous bits for Christmas presents.
I had a fantastic night and left with a goodie bag crammed full of samples and sweeties. Candy Rocks also gifted us all with a pendent to take home. I love mine so much, the sapphire coloured stone in the centre compliments my new favourite Primark skirt.
Make sure you head to Candy Rock's Facebook page to take a look at the new pieces for Autumn and Winter. There are loads of really vibrant necklaces, perfect for the Festive season.
Theses are all gorgeous! I think I would have been in trouble if I'd had gone to this event. x
ReplyDeleteI bought four necklaces but they were all for Christmas presents. I've kept them all wrapped up and away so I'm not tempted to swipe them for myself!
DeleteI love the one you;re wearing at the end! So pretty! I tend to only wear tiny necklaces but this one is great!
