Oasis Ellie Faux Fur Lined Parka

Today I thought I'd introduce you to one of my lovely birthday presents (yes I am STILL going on about my birthday!)

This is my new "Ellie Faux Fur Lined Parka" from Oasis and I really love it.

For the last year I'd been walking around in a very tatty looking dark blue parka from H&M, although it was a coat I wore a lot it never felt quite right and the hood wasn't attached very well so when it rained I got rather wet.

I spotted this coat on fellow North East blogger Rubee's video she did a while back and I was smitten from the second she held it up to the camera.  It's gorgeous, a beautiful fit and it's probably the snuggliest coat I've ever owned.

I thought that getting this coat in Spring I wouldn't get much wear out of it, but seeing as we seem to be stuck in Winter here in the North East at the moment I've had it on every day and have really appreciated it.   I do a 20 minute walk to/from work every day and it's been perfect for battling the elements.

It has a detachable furry lining which means you can keep warm in the winter and then remove it for the warmer seasons.

It comes in a variety of colours including a blue rather similar to my original H&M coat.  I decided to embrace a change and picked the khaki green colour and I'm really pleased with it.

Simon and I had great fun taking these outfit photos, mainly because when I was unzipping the coat to show the lining he couldn't stop laughing and telling me I looked like I was doing some kind of weird strip tease.   Looking at the photos now I have to say I agree .. so please feel free to have a little chuckle!

The good news is you can still purchase one for yourself here, it's £88.00 and well worth the money

    1. Yes, although I feel reluctant to swap from my old battered brown Oasis bag to my brand new black Zara City Bag cos I feel the brown goes so much better with the khaki :s

  13. Hey Laura. I bought it in a medium and I'm usually a size 12. It's a great fit, not too big but you can still fit jumpers underneath x
