The North East Blogger Awards are back for 2015. Hosted by
local PR company, OPR and sponsored by some of the biggest local companies
including the Metrocentre and Newcastle Airport, last year's soiree saw the
best bloggers gather at Lane 7 to celebrate a year of blogging in the North
East.
Unfortunately last year I wasn't shortlisted (SOB), and although the blow was softened when I found myself shortlisted for the Blog North Awards, it is still very much my blogging goal to win myself a North East Blogger Award. Forget the big national blogging awards, my heart and my blog belong to the North East and these truly are the awards that matter to me.

I have worked very hard on my blog since the last North East
Blogger Awards and New Girl in Toon has gone through a few changes. A new layout, improved photography and an
increase in content has seen my page views double in the last year. This blog is my baby and I throw all of my
time, money and effort into creating the very best content that I possibly can
for my readers.
If you've enjoyed New Girl in Toon this year, if it's
convinced you to visit the North East or (if you're a local) it's encouraged
you to get out and explore the region then I'd really appreciate your vote in
the Awards.
To vote for me, simply click here and fill in the form. Here's some of the information you'll need:
Category – Best Travel Blog
Blog URL – newgirlintoon.co.uk
Twitter Handle - @newgirlintoon
Link to favourite blog post – obviously it's up to you to pick out
your favourite, but here are some of mine
Glamping at the Bells of Hemscott -newgirlintoon.co.uk/2015/05/glamping-at-bells-of-hemscott-shepherds.html

If you are feeling extra generous you can nominate me for "North East Blogger of the Year", you'll need all of the details above but will also need to mention my Summer Swish at the Metro Centre post (newgirlintoon.co.uk/2015/06/summer-swish-at-metrocentre.html) for me to be eligible.

It only remains for me to say how grateful I am for each and
every one of you that takes the time to read and comment on my blog. My workload has increased significantly over
the last year which means I don’t always have the time to reply to all of your
lovely comments but believe me I appreciate every single one and they make me
smile every day.
I've voted :)

DeleteVoted! And I'll happily share with you what I wrote as to why:
ReplyDelete"She may not be born and bread in the NE, but Chloe's passion for her new home shines through throughout her blog. She is a brilliant ambassador to the region.
As well as holding a full time job, the time and effort can be seen that goes into her creating her blog posts and her photography is amazing at capturing her subject.
Reading Chloe's posts, mainly cake related ones, always make me want to jump in the car and basically stuff my face!"
Good luck! :)
